If you re-post your message to "healeys@autox.team.net" I'm sure
you'll get a good response.
Healey gas tanks can be cleaned quite effectively without cutting
them apart. I've done a couple. I took mine to Redistrip. Then
sealed them with sloshing compound (in this case used to seal the
inside of float plane floats). Stops corrosion and fills up pinhole leaks.
I agree with your suggestion of rebuilding the braking system completely.
It is the ONLY (safe) thing to do after such a long time in storage.
