Those of you who do not live in the Midwest have been denied the
privilege of seeing Bill Dentinger's tow vehicle.

Bill races a vintage TR3 and tows short tows with a 1950 Chevy panel
truck, beautifully restored. He found the truck being used as a
billboard, bought and restored it, and discovered to his delight that it
was one of only four made on the one ton chassis, making it a true
collector vehicle.

His only upgrade was to install the largest Chevy six he could find - a
292 cu in item. The truck is painted BRG and the sides are emblazoned
with the Standard Triumph logo. It is a delight to behold, but Bill
reports that it isn't so swell to drive. It was used as the pace car
(!!!) at a couple of drivers' school races last weekend at Blackhawk.
His air horns got the students' attention really fast.

Maybe the best part of Bill's equipe is what he has painted on the back
of his enclosed trailer: "It's never too late to have a happy
childhood..."
