FYI... I installed an aftermarket Dino wheel in the Lotus Cortina. The hub adapter incorporated a neat collapsable element, consisting of a stamped metal hub with slits and folds, covered by a tubular rubber cosmetic cover, so it can collapse upon an impact with the wheel.
