Yup, and while a some people on the list might not want to hear about
"politics", both SVRA members and non-members are interested in the discussion,
and it's outcome. I think it's good to get these issues, and all viewpoints out
into the open. How much more open can you get, where anyone is free to
respond? Both (all three?) sides seem to have valid points, and I'm glad to see
that all have been able to make use of this list as a forum. This list is to
discuss Vintage Racing, and this is part of it.

There are currently between 400 and 500 people on this list. I'm not aware of
any other list where you can contact a large group of SVRA members or other
vintage racers, but please do remember to be courteous, and remember that
there are readers around the world reading this list.
Personally, I've seen good points from both sides of the fence- Hopefully these
issues can now move forward, and be resolved in a manner beneficial to us all.
[Oh, and yes, I'm an SVRA member, and have been concerned about the cost vs.
value of SVRA events.]
