I now have a real, honest-to-goodness "cable modem" and a 1.5 megabit/s 
connection to the internet at home (soon to be upgraded to 6 MB/s and a 4 
port hub for our 'home' network!) I can now dowmload web pages 100 times 
faster than before, so I can see the server latency.

Anyway, my email address is:    hayes@highway1.com
My old address is still valid: jeh@fotec.com or jeh@world.std.com
but I prefer you use the new address.
