Sunday I showed my XJ6 jaguar at the Austin Jaguar Club Concours D'Elegance.
This is the car I raced last year while my wife cringed every time she heard
tires squealing. I never put a ding on it and got one first place,
Six weeks ago she totaled the car by hitting a Toyota head on at 55MPH. It
was resurected and came out so nice I decided to show it. The insurance
people couldnt believe that I wanted the wreck. Paid $900 for the hull.
Sunday it earned 9.994 points to take first place at the Concours in
"driven" class.
So sometimes beauty can run to the bone.
