Whatever happened to #42 Red Mini in the Group 8 race Sunday afternoon???
I watched with anticipation as my fellow Healey owners cheered for
the yelow Bugeye #98 to stay in front of the charging Mini, but on
the last lap as the #42 was closing for the passs at Turn 5, we lost
sight of the duel and when the cars reappeared at turn 13 #'s 42 and 98
were not to be seen. Eventually both cars did make turn 13 and finished
the race, BUT the heated competion was over and both semed to be only
finishing up to get off the track.
Jim, where did it go wrong?
