Looking for tie rods

I need some 6" tie rods (as fitted to the Elan) for the Ginetta G4.  My
illustrious PO sawed about 3/4" off the end of some 7" ones (as used on
Spitfires, TRs, etc.) and then shortened the rod ends by about 1/2" so the
locknuts would fit.  Not my idea of safe. 

Anyone have any idea where I could find them?  (No luck at Dave Bean or Mini
Mania.) 

Note: I'll be leaving for Ireland for two weeks on Monday, so I may not get
back to you for a while.
