Jim,
I am still looking for a vintage racing club/organization in Northern
California (San Francisco is 270 miles south of us) or Southern Oregon
that is not a "numbers matching " crowd. I would prefer road course
events. My intent is to run a 60's Corvette and I am considering a previously
raced 64' "project car" as my first car...I just completed the Pony Express 100
in Nevada in my 62' and really have the itch...used to hill climb my 55' Healey
in the early 60's when I was a kid and now the 376hp of my Corvette has totally
seduced my good judgement like the 90hp of my BN1 did then...oh well, go with
it! Thanks for your input.
