Well, it's almost time for my first race of the year, at Mosport on June 2-4.

In proper racing tradition, neither the Bugeye or I am nearly ready enough. My
rocker assembly still hasn't come back from Rocker Arm Specialists on the
other side of the country, and so the head is still off. And there's a list of
other things to change/freshen as well.

I've also got to make a decision about a new set of tyres- Dunlop M's like I
have now, or a slightly cheaper set of Formula Ford fronts. I understand that
the Dunlop L's (Just becomming available again in 13") may become the required
size for new tyres next year, but anything bought now will be grandfathered in.

I'm also still working on my new trailer- I hope to get it registered today,
inspected in another day or 2, and maybe even get the inside built up to a
usable stage this weekend. (It's an enclosed, made from a Ryder truck box,
interior currently stripped to the bare aluminium walls & studs...) If I'm
lucky, I'll get insulation and walls up, so we don't have to freeze/bake. I
did manage to pick a deal on a *camper* door for the side entry, now
installed, *Screen door* and all. I don't think I've seen car haulers with
screen doors, but this will be a great feature, as it's also my home at the
track.

Sigh.

So, are any of you folks going to either race, spectate, or check out the auto
flea market at Mosport? The Canadian events have been suffering from somewhat
small fields lately, and have dropped their Shannonville event in hopes of a
bigger turnout at Mosport. I can't understand why more Americans don't come up
to Canada- This is a great track, and there's great racing, good people, and
loads of track time. And we get the advantage of an exchange rate of $1.35 CA =
$1.00 US.

Let me know if you're going to be there, and look for the Blue Bugeye #91, and
the Black trailer flying the Union jack. (If I get a flag holder mounted!)
