Well, I can't give a lot of details, but:

Steve had the pistons coated for the SAAB 2 stroke in the Jabro- This is a
more critical application due the high temps encountered with 2 strokes,
especially under lean conditions. (The critical guage in a 2 stroke being an
exhaust temperature guage) These engines have a long history of melted
pistons, especially if you run without a guage. While not given extensive
testing, the coating did appear to help. When last seen, the piston tops looked
great.

The Jabro has now moved on to a new owner, and Steve's March 71B is getting
close to being a real car again for the first time in 20 years or so. The fresh
1600 Lotus TC engine will be ready this month, and final re-assembly can
commence.

Steve also has a 2nd almost complete March (71 or 72) that he's putting up for
sale. (Anyone other vintage folks out there in the new wings & slicks group?)
