After checking around, this seems to be the story:
> -get new cast/forged rockers
-plus new bushings. Probably close to $300
> -build up a used spare set I have
> -Get these rockers rebuilt
This may be only $20-50 from rocker arm specialists. I'll sned along a spare
set just in case.
After studying the problem more, I think that either
-The rocker pads were too soft (RAS will re-profile and harden the pads)
and/or
-The offset rockers weren't aligned properly over the valves, and require
"adjustment" of the pedestal positions to recenter.
