Iâ??m talking of the badges mounted on the sides of each front wing on a TR6. Ive received an email from an enthusiast wanting to know the positioning dimensions. AFAIR they were fitted using a simple hand-positioned jig with a spring loaded â??pusherâ?? that punched the badge on to the panel. The fact that many later fell off as the cars went for shipment is the result of why so many have later got positioned in the oddest of locations and speaks realms for the unsatisfactory nature of the adhesive, but with engines that leaked oil and water from new, what can one expect? :) If anyone still has an original car with the original badges (a vain hope) still defiantly firmly attached, the left and right hand side measurements to the badge base and left or right hand edges would be a plus. Even more of a plus would be to have those measurements in centimetres as my enquirer doesnâ??t have an imperial measurements rule. A useful converter that may help is 2.54 centimetres to 1 inch. Many thanks to anyone who can assist, particularly those with poor eyesight and arthriticky joints requiring you to lie on a cold, concrete garage floor at a time of year when such activities should be summer pursuits. Oh, and Happy New Year!
