I use a machine screw about 2 inches long.  Screw it in the hole in the grease 
cap and it will contact the end of the stub axle and push the cap off nice and 
easy.  I think it is a #10 or #12 thread.  If your center hole is already 
messed up, you might be able to use a tap and put a thread or two in.  No 
damage and the cap will go right back in.

How do i get the front wheel grease caps off? They are in there really well. Do 
i have to destroy them?
