I am converting a smallmouth TR3 from 10" to 9" rear drums and I noticed th=
ey have what I can only describe as "peep holes". Do all 9" drums have the=
se?

I imagine on the early TR2s with Lockheed systems, these were used to acces=
s the adjusters which were inside the drums. Did the holes just continue t=
hrough production? Or is there another reason?
