Hi Guys,
  I tried the solid state voltage stabilizers and have found them prone to f=
ailure.  Luckily I held on to the old reed stabilizers the solid state volta=
ge stabilizers were to have replaced and have had no issues with the reinsta=
lled 50+ year originals.  YRMV=E2=80=A6
