Hi Mark,
I had the same problem. I=E2=80=99ve got an A type transmission =
built from into Austin-Healy housing. My overdrive worked well for =
several years and then quit in the same manner. On my overdrive the =
angle drive is held in by a set screw that engages, if memory serves, a =
groove on the angle drive housing. By pushing the angle drive into the =
housing past the groove and then tighting down the set screw the cable =
once again connected to the drive in the transmission and has worked =
well that way for several years.
