Just found a gallon of "GUNK" brand carb clean in the shed, I'm sure it came
from the FLAPS down the road a few years ago.  Anyone with experience or an
opinion on this brand?  I'll probably end up trying and see how it does.

John, I'm sure the diesel soak would work great but isn't it a bit messy?

A clean half inch paintbrush, an old roasting tin and the container half
full of central heating oil - or diesel, all helps to lubricate stiff
fasteners.
Finish off with compressed air. Simples
