I'd look at the Ace Cafe (London) website; they have great car events every 
 month. Also, be sure to go to Brooklands motor circuit, Weybridge, Surrey. 
They  have a great museum, which includes old aircraft too, and there are 
often old  car events. You can even walk out on the historic Brooklands 
banking (part of  the track that was built in 1907). The buildings there have 
been restored  exactly as they were originally. There are probably indoor 
classic car shows  going on around the country too, such as at the NEC in 
Birmingham. These are  more like a Detroit Auto Show but for classic cars.
