New lines or not, the one thing that will defniitely limit the damage if it
ever breaks again is to put a restrictor at the place where it attaches to
the engine. A plug inside the fitting with a very small drill hole through
it will still allow pressure to be measured just fine, and if the line
breaks you'll get a small stream but not a gusher. Aircraft do this - it's
particularly important in flight because you can't just pull over onto a
cloud if a leak occurs, and stains aside, you don't want to lose all your
oil.
