Same goes for Mk1 and Mk2 Spits. In some states it requires a building
permit to put up your top!

Newton's laws of inertia as regards TR4 tops:
A TR4 hood erected tends to stay erected.
A TR4 hood removed tends to stay removed.
The Miata top on the other hand changes state quite often.
