I ain't no scientist, but when a temperature gradient is set up does the
coolant not do it's level best to become all the same temperature? In other
words, if the coolant in the radiator is cooled to a temperature below that of
the coolant in the block does the coolant in the block not migrate toward the
cooler coolant in the radiator (or vice versa, I said I ain't no scientist)
in an attempt to all become the same temperature, therefore creating a
circulation and cooling all the fluif in spite of the fact that the motor is
off?
