I wouldn't assume piston replacement is necessary or that it will be 
effective.

I would remove the pistons, clean the piston, caliper bore, and seals up, 
and reassemble.

It's normal for one piston to be easier to move than the other.  It's almost 
impossible to achieve a perfect balance of forces and friction.  But the 
difference shouldn't feel like much to your hands.
