I'm pretty sure AE , Vandervell , Clevite are now all owned by ACL from
Australia. I've used all of these brands in various engines without trouble.
Do you have the engine that went 400 miles after a rebuild and it started to
knock? If so make sure you find the root cause of the failure otherwise it
will fail again. Remember, the other half of the bearing is the crank. Both
must be in good condition ( round ) for everything to work properly.
