[TR] 'bullet-style' mirrors mounted on tr3 fenders?

Hi,
Are there any folks out there with TR3's that have 'bullet-style' mirrors 
mounted on their fenders?  Pics available?  Other Tr's?

In the event I go this direction and mount my bullet style side mirrors on my 
fenders,  does it then add anything to also have one mounted on the 
driver's-side door?
