Depends on which Triumph you are looking at.  AFAIK, all TR2-3B used a solid
line, with a short flexible section near the firewall.  TR6 used a flexible
line, I'm not sure offhand about models in-between.

Have you also seen the TR2 disc brake rotors on eBay ?
