Hi all
My mom has an electric TR7. It says "TR7E" on the back. She commutes to
work with it. Her other car (for when she needs to go farther) is also a TR7,
but not electric. :)
I also own an electric car (but not a Triumph... it's a VW Karmann Ghia) and
I can answer technical questions about EVs off-list.

Here is a more current link to Ralph Goodwin's electric Spitfire:

The cool thing about that car is that it's optimized for autocrossing (light
weight, lots of torque and power, but not much range). There is a trailer full
of batteries you can hook on if you want to go farther.

I heard a rumor that there is at least one electric Herald out there, but
I've never seen it. Spitfires and TR7s seem to be the most popular Triumphs
for electric conversion, probably because they are relatively inexpensive and
plentiful. For the same reason, there are lots of electric Spridgets out
there, but the only electric "big Healey" I've seen was a replica (Sebring?).
