| Subject: | Question on figure 8 gaskets |

List, I have been getting parts ready for assembly of my TR4A engine and I have a question regarding the metal gaskets that go under the cylinder sleeves. The original gaskets that I just took out were copper and the ones in my gasket kit are steel. Wouldn't copper ones be easier to compress? Am I worrying about something that is of little consequence or should I spend some time trying to locate copper gaskets? Thanks in advance. Dave Connitt |
