I've shipped my rims off to Newton, MA after deciding the www.rimandwheelworks.com seemed best able to deal with my wonky wheels. I asked them to sandblast, true and powder coat the rims. All are go they say except for the powder coating. Apparently they feel that it is not done to P/C a steel rim and they wish only to paint them. Is there some sort of sound reasoning behind this? Flexxing etc? Mark 1972 TR6 (with no wheels) |
