GT6 cylinder valve spring tool

I've been attemting to remove the valve spring retainers on my GT6+.
I have purchased two different types of compressors and neither seems
to work. I haven't tried the C type compressor and I don't need three 
compressors if the C type isn't going to work. I appreciate any advice.
