Does anyone else believe in gloves ? I find the latex ones don't last me over
20 minutes, tops. Any kind of solvent, including gasoline, and they turn
yellow, hard and tear about 30 seconds later.

The blue nitrile ones do much better, but I still have to remember to change
them every hour or two. Generally I'll forget, and tear one while I'm under the
car ... net result is that I've spent most of the day being annoyed by the
gloves, and my hands got dirty anyway !

Could be my 'style', I guess ... generally any successful weekend in the garage
will end with torn skin, too. When I put the transmission back in my Stag (by
myself), my hands wound up looking like I'd been teasing some very hungry dogs
...

OTOH, seems like the job always goes much easier after I've spilled a few drops
of blood. Maybe that's why I get along so well with the Prince of Darkness !
