Fuel supply was gravity fed, rather than pumped, and he had to back up steep hills or it would starve for gas. < The Model T story I liked was about the car that had a terrible preignition problem. Upon disassembly they found a hand carved wooden piston. Believe it or don't. Still makes one think about all the depression era improvisations. Dave |
