TR3a door check strap

Evening to all,

It is hot now in southern Ontario, geez go from freezing to humid hot
overnight. Nothing it feels in between. 

Well my question is I have door check strap for the '3:

- what colour is supposed to be? Body colour?

- is it a 1/4 dowel type pin that is supposed to go on the bodt side?

- two pan head screws like the rest of the body screws on the car?
