Well, yes and no. Essentially, white side AND flasher lenses for the front, and 
all-red taillamp lenses for the rear, were normal fitment for the US market at 
the time. This is true for the TR4 and probably most TR4As.

Which flasher lamp do you have in front: the old glass-lens L594 (so-called 
"beehive" lens), or the later and larger plastic lens (model number escapes me 
at the moment)? Again, either lens would've been white/clear on a US market car.
