Normally, when the 'wet' reading doesn't increase dramatically, the problem is in the valves (burnt exhaust valve). Might be worth a peek under the rocker cover first ... I found a broken rocker pedestal on mine yesterday. Didn't do a compression check, but I'll bet #1 was way down ... it wouldn't even run. Randall |
