>Well I was out doing some night driving last night & noticed the
bright lights indicator illuminates when the head lights are on dim
and is off when the lights on bright.
Obvously some wire is connected backwards somewhere. Any guesses?

Probably at the head lights. (i.e. the wiring is correct up to the point
where the harness from the haedlamp buckets are plugged into the main
harness) It might even be the sockets are wired up backwards. But either
way, if you swap the wires at the front it will work properly.
