I have always remembered something I heard a long, long time ago........"If
you find something you really, really like.........buy a 'life time'
supply........cause when you go back for another one..........THEY DON'T MAKE
IT
ANYMORE......"..............unfortunately with tires.........they will
deteriorate
while you are using up your current set...........
Crazy as I am..........I have a set of tires I like, mounted on a spare set
of wire wheels, vacuum packed and stored in a 65 deg. basement, with only about
5 psi air pressure........awaiting the demise of the current set on my wife's
Jag.......They are fabulous tires........and when I want some
more.........and "They don't make those anymore!."..........I DO have some
more!
Well...........3-4 more years on the current tires, then 5-7 years on the 'new'
tires......in about 10 years or so I'll let you know how it turns out,
eh?.........I'll be 82 then..........and you can count on
it!!!.........Ha!...........as I
said, "Crazy!".....<g>.......
