If you are going to the work of dismantling your leaf springs there is another technigue to improve their performance. Get a drum sander for your electric drill. Using medium grit sanding drums sand the leaf spring contact surfaces lengthwise. This will smooth the contact surfaces and give them a "matching" grain. Then grease them before reassembly. -- Best Regards, Tom |
