If it's of any help?
- The seat base = "pan" if it's without any trim and "cushion" or "seat
cushion" if partly or fully trimmed (upholstered)
- The backrest = "top frame" if it's without any trim and "squab" if partly or
fully trimmed (upholstered).
If it's a reclining seat and fitted as such in production, "pan" and "cushion"
still apply, but "squab" becomes "backrest" or "recliner." The whole trimmed
assembly is a "chair"
Seats characterised with "removable bottoms" and "hanging rears" (mostly)
won't apply to this list.
