When rewiring any T/R, use the best diagram you can find of your car and do
not remove the connectors, cut them leaving enough wire to show the color
code, and check this against the diagram just to make sure the PO did not add
his own wiring sometime in the past, not the perfect solution, but makes life
a little easier. "FT"
