I have a 15 yr old air compressor that I bought at Costco. It has a 22
gal tank and runs a lot when I use air tools. However when i moved into
my new garage I noticed a pronounced difference in the noise level. At
the new house I had it plugged into a 20 amp circuit and the noise level
dropped significantly.
