Driver side front brake has started to make a loud screaching sound.
Its is not any brake pad noise that I am acustomed to.
I brought it to a shop and they pulled the hub off. the rotors were
resurfaced.
One thing of note was that the race in the hub came out. These usually
require
quite a force to come out.
They put it back in with lock tite.
I am thinking that that is the suspect. I did not have a new race with me at
the time.
I am thinking that when the brake is applied the the race is squeeling inside
the hub.
If thats possible.
The only other time i have heard this sound, was when I was first looking for
a tr6.
I had tried a car out , heard the noise and decided to go look for another
car.
