List,
Just a quick note to thanks to everyone who responded to my request for a
safe and effective way of attaching my sill end caps while making sure the
insides don't rust.
What I am going to do is to first remove all the remaining sand which will
be a real trick since one cap is already installed!
Then, I am going to braze the remaining end caps in place. Once they are
brazed into place, I am going to drill a hole in each end cap large enough
to 1) allow me to insert a WAXOYL nozzle into the cap, and 2) allow me to
insert a rubber plug into the hole after I am done.
This way I won't launch and end cap thru the garage door from the paint
spontaneously combusting in the sill/launch tube!
Again, thanks to everyone who responded and I hope that someday I can return
the favor!
