So many things to do, so little time, so many cars.....that about sums it up.
The view from left to right down Philadelphia Street Saturday evening was
just unbelievable. Even in the pouring rain you could see Triumphs as far as
you could look.
As many of you, I wish we had more time and perhaps one more venue of all the
cars together so we could have spent more time kicking the tires leisurely.
The photoshoot Sunday morning provided a nice relaxed moment to connect but
unfortunately, not everyone could make it.
Special thanks to Charles and his staff for challenging the weather head-on
at the campsite; the hillclimb was great - thanks to Rich Rock & Charles and
the volunteers who set the course up......but, hey, how about us Triumph
owners....are we nuts or what!!!??? The motel parking lots were filled
Saturday
afternoon with LBC owners washing their cars just hours before a concours show
in
the drizzle confident that it wouldn't rain any harder....what a great site!
Ha, ha, ha.....there were so many LBCs on the road between Armagh & Indiana
that you could just keep your hand out permanently to wave at an oncoming LBC
during nearly any road trip you made.
Oh well, gotta go wash the bugs off the 6 and clean her up for her next
event....cheers,
Chip Krout
