The carrier (the bit with the writing) is likely to be a plastic of
one description or another, it should be possible to pick and peel
this away, leaving the residue of the adhesive, generally an organic
solvent will remove the rest applied to some cotton wool. Acetone is
usually successful, if you don't have access to this nail polish
remover is basically the same stuff.
