Yeah, but so does every component. The starter weighs a lot (especially the
early one), the generator, the cylinder head, the crankshaft ... so
assembled it weighs lots and lots ... <g>
I read somewhere that the 2.5 6-cyl was actually very slightly lighter ...
the TRactor motor may well enjoy the dubious honor of being the heaviest
engine that Standard-Triumph ever made !
