Last week I chatted about putting in seat belts into the '3. I ordered the
Moss Beams belts and they are installed. Very impressed with the kit, all
of the hardware & instructions needed to install. I currently have them
installed using grade 8 bolt to the body mount points behind the seats.
When the body was being done I had the bodyshop re-enforce the these areas
to prevent the (I believe the term is ) "tin-canning" of the sheetmetal that
makes it break down over time. I felt this is a stronger anchor point then
a really big washer on the bottom side of the floor. Any opinions?
I also ordered the seat belt stickers as Andy Mace suggested on June 24th
for $9usd. It arrived Friday! Not too bad coming across the border. I am
also extremely impressed with the quality of the stickers and the service
time, he uses paypal which makes the transaction IMO safer. A good vender
in this transaction.
