I happened upon a Spitfire Roadster at a local junkyard. It
appears to be all there, much in need of restoration, but very
little rust...hot dry, N.Cal. weather. It had a four cylinder
Datsun engine and transmission...junk yard guy said it came in
with SUs, and from the looks of the manifold (carbs gone) that
could have been true.
I am NOT knowledgeable on Spits...so I have no idea what year
it is, but it can be had for $200.00. If anyone is interested
let me know and I will do what I can to help.
