Start with the easy stuff:
Locate car a safe distance from any object (if possible)
Set parking brake
Depress clutch, engage fourth gear.
Engage starter.

If you are lucky the torque from the starter will break it free and you are
done.

If this fails, Proceede to step two:
(If you have access to a large, empty parking lot) start the car in gear
and try a few full throttle acceleration blasts with the clutch depressed.
Use brakes on occasion as well.

Step three:
Sacrafice an MG and smear the blood all over your body and sing praises to
Lord Lucas.

(Seriously, if steps one and two don't work there are other, more drastic
steps to take before pulling the transmission but step 1 will work in most
cases.)

Good luck

Dave
