I didn't see anyone reply to your post, so I will give this a shot. I am
no Dan Masters so beware!!!!
On the flasher there are 3 posts B, P, & L. B has the green wire
attached. P has the light green wire attached. L has the green with
brown tracer.
I use Kenneth Ball's Workshop Manual for Triumph............

Check the bulb's for broken filaments.
Check the fuse.
Check the wiring, paying particular attention to the connections and the
grounds.

Switch on the ignition and check that battery voltage is present between
terminal B and ground.
Connect terminals B and L. Operate the signal light switch. If the lamps
light, the flasher unit is defective. If the lamps do not light and
everything else is OK, the indicator switch is defective.

I have used this procedure with some success, it has always been poor
connections
in inaccessible places. Your results may vary!!!!
